Walcott Launch Site Directions and Information

Directions

From I-80:  Take exit 284 at the Iowa 80 truck stop.  Take 60th Avenue north approximately 1.5 miles to 230th Street and turn right (east) on 230th Street.  Proceed east approximately 2 miles on 230th Street to 80th Avenue.  Turn right (south) on 80th Avenue and drive about a mile.  Just before the intersection of 80th Avenue and 220th Street, turn towards the farm house on the west side of the road.  Then turn sharply to the right and follow the tracks between the irrigation arm and the farm. We usually set up in the southwest corner of the sod farm.  However if the ground is soft, we will probably be parked along 80th Avenue

**Please do not drive north of the irrigation arm.
